Our SMSTS Refresher course is a 2-Day Training Course for delegates who have previously passed the Full 5-Day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) CITB course.

Delegates must provide proof of certification of the Full SMSTS Course to be eligible for the 2-day refresher course, any delegates that do not attend this course prior to the end date of their SMSTS certificate will risk their right to attend a refresher course and will be required to attend the full course.

In this course you will cover:

  • Risk Assessment and Method Statements

  • Construction Site Health, Safety and Welfare

  • Reporting Injuries, Disease and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)

  • Behavioral Safety

  • Occupational Health

  • The current focus of the Health and Safety Executive's attention

  • Overview and Changes to the Current Legislation affecting Construction
